

Telega.io payouts via Mellow — Registration, Profile Setup & KYC Verification
Step-by-step guide for freelancers/contractors
Summary
Step 1 — Sign up using invitation email from Telega.io
Telega.io uses Mellow as a payout method. To receive payments successfully, you must (1) create an account, (2) complete your profile, and (3) pass verification (KYC).
Before you start, make sure you have:
- A phone number that can receive a verification code
- The same email address for Telega.io and Mellow. This email is used to match your Telega profile with your Mellow account for payouts.
- A government-issued ID (passport, national ID, driver’s license, or residence permit — availability depends on your country)
- Proof of address (bank statement, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)
- A stable internet connection (avoid using a VPN during verification)
Step 1 — Register using an invitation email from Telega.io
Open the invitation email and click the button/link to complete registration. If Telega.io sent you an invitation link, registration may be available only through that link.

If you try to sign up without the invitation link, you may see a message that you’ve already been invited. In that case, go back to the invitation email and use the link from there.

Step 2 — Finish your setup REQUIRED
After you sign up and log in, Mellow may show a banner suggesting you complete your setup. Click “Complete sign up” to unlock full functionality.

In your profile, confirm your phone number and check that your email and phone show as verified.

Then fill in all required sections (personal details, tax residence/tax number if required, and your residential address). Make sure the information matches your documents; mismatches often cause KYC failures.
Step 3 — Identity & address verification (KYC) REQUIRED
Mellow will ask you to verify your identity and address before withdrawals are available (for example, based on payout method or compliance requirements).
To start, open Profile → Personal details and click “Verify now”.

Read the consent statement and click “Agree and continue”.

You’ll see the three-step verification flow: (1) identity document, (2) liveness check (selfie/video), (3) proof of address. Click “Start verification”.

Step 4.1 — Provide an identity document
Select the issuing country and document type, then upload photos of the original document (not screenshots). If you use a two-sided document, upload both sides.

Step 4.2 — Pass the liveness check (camera)
Allow camera access. Follow on-screen instructions (good light, face inside the frame, turn your head as requested, no hat). Important: make sure nobody else is visible in the frame.

Step 4.3 — Upload proof of address
Upload a document that shows your full name and current residential address (for example: bank statement, utility bill, or a government-issued document). Most documents must be issued within the last 6 months (apart from passport or ID)

❌ Common rejection reasons: screenshots, scanned/edited images, or documents without clear name/address/date.
If you see an error message, upload a live photo of the original document or the original PDF.

After uploading, you may see a short “Verifying your address” screen. Wait for the check to complete.
Once verification is completed successfully, you’ll see a confirmation message.

😤 Common “why is it stuck?” checks

Stuck on Cloudflare “Verifying you are human” → Wait 10–30 seconds; don’t spam refresh. If it loops, try Incognito/InPrivate and temporarily disable ad blockers/extensions or switch browsers.

You were invited by Telega.io but can’t sign up / login → Register only via the invitation link from the email (don’t self-signup separately).

Email won’t work / registration fails → Use an email without special characters like + or -.

Withdrawals/features are blocked → Finish your profile setup first (incomplete profile can prevent withdrawals and other actions).

Not receiving the phone verification code → Re-check the number, wait up to ~15 minutes, restart the phone, and ensure the number is connected to a messenger app (also check roaming/spam/full SMS storage).

Verification (KYC) keeps failing → Turn VPN off and retry; then confirm your profile data matches your documents exactly (name, DOB, address).

Proof of address rejected → Don’t upload screenshots/edited/cropped images. Use a clear photo of the original paper document (all corners visible) or upload the original PDF for e-docs.
