Xiaomi unveiled its first humanoid robot CyberOne.
The machine was developed by the Xiaomi Robotics Lab division. The humanoid robot is 1.77 cm tall, weighs 52 kg, and has an average walking speed of 3.6 km/h. The robot is equipped with a set of sensors, which allow it to navigate in space, recognize people nearby and, if necessary, respond to them. Thus, CyberOne is able to answer questions and talk on various topics, recognizing 45 human emotions.
Xiaomi believes that the CyberOne can become a home assistant, running small errands. However, the company stressed that this is only the first model and it is very far to really "smart" robots. When and at what price the CyberOne will go on sale is unknown.

The nail specialists are getting hard - home manicure printers are gaining popularity in the U.S. and Europe.
The trick is that such a machine beats the cost of 5-10 trips to the salon, and you can do anything with your nails - from regular painting to your own prints. And yes, it's already on Aliexpress.

Researchers from the University of Massachusetts have invented an unusual biofilm that turns sweat into electricity.
As studies have shown, the energy generated is enough to power small devices, such as medical implants.
As the inventors say, this could give a "new breath" to the medical field, because there are still implants that run on batteries.

The Google office continues to develop robotic assistants and add new functions to them.
As stated by Google, they do not plan to sell robots yet, as they perform only a few dozen actions and help only in the office. All requests are activated with the phrase "Okay, Google," and the robots themselves have already become indispensable helpers in the kitchen, cleaning up all the mess.
