Naval Science & Technological Laboratory(NSTL), DRDO in collaboration with Warship Design Bureau of Indian Navy has successfully completed Hydrodynamic Performance Assessment and Model Testing of Frontline Indian Naval Ship Project.

Comprehensive capabilities were demonstrated in Hull hydrodynamic, CFD based simulation and experimental model testing, covering critical parameters such as resistance, propulsion, sea keeping and manoeuvrability. The outcomes were benchmarked against leading international standard, establishing parity in accuracy, reliability and technical depth.

The formal handing over of project deliverables were carried out by Dr Samir V Kamat Secretary DDR&D and Chairman DRDO to VAdm Sanjay Sadhu, AVSM, NM, Controller of Warship Production and Acquisition in presence of Dr RV Hara Prasad DG(N&SM), Dr B K Das, DG (ECS), Dr Abraham Varughese, Director NSTL from DRDO and RAdm Sujit Baxi, DG(WDB), RAdm Iftekhar Alam, NM, ADG( WDB) from Indian Navy

IAF conducted FLITE-26 on 25 Apr 26 with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya as knowledge partner, empowering maintenance leadership for techno-logistics excellence and collaborative problem-solving amid evolving threats.
Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, in his inaugural address, underscored the criticality of techno-logistics in enhancing warfighting capability, emphasising innovation, resilience and integration of legacy & modern systems.
CAS also launched IAF e-journal ‘Wings of Resilience’ and GSV e-book ‘Lead Beyond Limits’.

Achieving a significant milestone, the Advanced Armoured Platform (Wheeled & Tracked) designed by VRDE, DRDO and developed jointly with #tataadvanced & #BharatForgeLtd were flagged off by Dr Samir V Kamat, Secretary DD(R&D) and Chairman DRDO today at VRDE Ahilyanagar in presence of Prof (Dr) Prateek Kishore, DS & DG(ACE), Dr Chandrika Kaushik, DS & DG(PC&SI), Shri Sukaran Singh, CEO & MD M/s TASL Pune, Shri Amit Kalyani, VC & Jt MD M/s BFL Pune and Shri G R M Rao, OS & Director VRDE.

The AAP (Tracked and Wheeled) have been designed to cater to the emerging operational requirements of Indian Armed Forces. Both the platforms have been integrated with indigenously designed & developed Crewless Turret with 30 mm gun. The platforms are amphibious and capable of launching Anti Tank Guided Missiles.
