የFulbright 2026-2027 የአፍሪካ ምርምር ስኮላር ፕሮግራም ይፋ ሆኗል።

ፕሮግራሙ ሁለት አይነት አሰጣጦች ሲኖሩት በመጀመሪያው ፕሮግራም ዶክትሬት የሚጠይቅ (Post-doctoral) ሲሆን ሁለተኛው ፕሮግራም የማስተርስ ድግሪን የሚጠይቅ ነው።

በሁለቱም ፕሮግራሞች ማመልከት የሚችሉት የዩኒቨርስቲ መምህራን (ሌክቸሮች) ናቸው።

የቆይታ ጊዜው እንደ ፕሮግራሙ አይነት ሲለያይ አመልካቾች ከነሐሴ 2026 በኋላ እና ከመጋቢት 2027 በፊት በአሜሪካ ተገኝተው ምርምራቸውን መጀመር መቻል አለባቸው።

የዕድሜ እና የፆታ ገደብ እንደሌለው የተገለጸ ሲሆን አመልካቾች ከJuly 31, 2025 በፊት ማመልከት ይጠበቅባቸዋል።

📢Call for Nominations of Certified Public Accountants for the Interim Governing Council Membership of the Ethiopian Institute of Certified Public Accountants
Dear Accounting and Auditing Professionals in Public Practice, Academia, and Government.
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Ethiopian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ETiCPA) with Proclamation No.1372/2025 to promote the accountancy profession in Ethiopia. The establishment of ETiCPA aligns with Ethiopia’s broader economic and financial sector reforms and represents a significant step in enhancing financial reporting quality, strengthening corporate governance, and fostering trust within Ethiopia’s financial system.
The ETiCPA envisions upholding the highest standards in accounting and auditing by certifying qualified professionals recognized locally and internationally, promoting ethical practices and professional independence, ensuring sustainability and credibility in the accountancy profession, and establishing rigorous certification, governance, and ethical standards. To fulfill this mission, ETiCPA aims to build a strong institutional foundation, establish key operational frameworks, engage stakeholders effectively and enhance the credibility and professionalism of accounting practices.
Until a permanent Governing Council is elected by the General Assembly, which constitutes CPAs registered by the Institute and other voting and non-voting individuals determined by by-laws, the Ministry of Finance and AABE will oversee the formation of an Interim Governing Council. This Council will oversee the duties and responsibilities assigned to the Institute in the Proclamation, lay the foundation, and guide its strategic direction. The Interim Governing Council will consist of seven members: two seasoned practitioners with CPA certification and five distinguished professionals with utmost relevance to the Institute from AABE, Researchers and Lecturers in the accountancy profession currently working in higher educational institutions, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Education.
The selection of the two CPAs will follow a transparent and merit-based evaluation process. Therefore, we extend an open invitation to accounting and auditing professionals across Ethiopia and abroad to nominate three highly qualified, experienced, and CPA-certified practitioners in Ethiopia to serve on the Interim Governing Council for an initial three-year term.
Nomination Criteria: To be considered for this esteemed position, nominees must meet the following qualifications:
1) A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degrees (MBA, MSc in Finance/Accounting/Economics, or PhD).
2) Must hold professional certifications, including but not limited to, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) and ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
3) A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in public accounting, auditing, finance, public financial management, teaching, or research.
4) Proven leadership experience in roles such as Partner or Senior Manager in an accounting/audit firm and Director of Finance or Accounting in a public or private organization.
5) Prior engagement with accounting and financial standards-setting bodies and Professional Accountancy Organizations (PAOs) is highly desirable.
6) Demonstrated knowledge of national and international legal, regulatory, and financial standards and frameworks
7) A strong commitment to the advancement of the accountancy profession in Ethiopia.

9) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with government, academia, the private sector, and international partners.
10) Must demonstrate the ability to act independently, providing unbiased opinions and decisions without conflicts of interest.
