Sudan Civil War: [26/3/2025]: 🇸🇩 Situation south of Khartoum: The Sudanese armed forces launched a major operation in the early hours of the morning to accelerate the evacuation of the last RSF troops east of the White Nile from three axes: 1. SAF advanced from Giyad taking control of Jadid Al Thawra and Al-Baqeir and the barracks of the 1st Mechanised Infantry Brigade. 2. SAF advanced from Habiba and took control of Taiba camp (15°20'17.8 ‘N 32°34'13.9 ’E) and cut the road between Khartoum city and Jabal Awliya with the recapture of Tayba Al-hasanab and Sheikh Habibullah. 3. SAF advanced from south of Jabal Awliya taking control of the south of the town including the famous junction (15°14'16.9 ‘N 32°29'30.0 ’E), ending the escape route of the remaining rebel forces.
