What age do astronauts retire at?
Each astronaut retires when their health no longer allows them to fly or for personal reasons. No upper limit is set, it all depends on the individual astronaut.
Twenty-three years ago, 77-year-old American John Glenn proved that advanced age is no barrier to spaceflight. Since 1962, when Glenn was first on board the space shuttle, he has dreamed of flying again.
And on October 29, 1998, he finally made his dream come true. The gap between the astronaut's first and last flight was 36 years.

HE 0437-5439 is the most famous rogue star
It is moving away from the Milky Way at 723 km/s and has already traveled 200,000 light years away.
Its origin is still a mystery, but according to one theory, the triple star system experienced a close pass by the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A, located in the center of the Galaxy.
As a result, one of them was swallowed by the hole and the other two were thrown into intergalactic space by a powerful gravitational kick. The two soon merged into one massive star.

The dwarf planet Pluto
And these are its actual images ⬆️
Pluto is a dwarf planet in the Kuiper Belt, a ring of bodies beyond Neptune's orbit. It was the first and largest Kuiper Belt object to be discovered.

The Ring Planetary Nebula
The nebula's glow is caused by ultraviolet radiation from a white dwarf that ionizes its gases, the remnants of the central red giant star's jettisoned atmosphere.

In theory, every rainbow is a full circle.
However, from the ground, you can normally only spot the top half of it.
But if you're in an airplane or on the roof of a tall building, there's a chance to capture the entire circle.

Jupiter's Great Red Spot
This largest atmospheric vortex in the solar system was discovered more than 350 years ago and is constantly changing in size.
At the beginning of observations, the spot was about 40 thousand kilometers long and 13 thousand kilometers wide. Since the 1930s, its size has been decreasing: in 1979 it was 23,300 kilometers, in 2014 it was 16,500 kilometers.
The wind speed inside the spot exceeds 500 kilometers per hour 😱

Illustration showing the magnitude of the speed of light
Various values of the time required to reach different objects in the Solar System are presented to us. It will take us 1.2 seconds to reach the Moon. The journey to our nearest star, Proxima Centauri, would only take 4.22 years.
Just imagine that flying to Neptune in our ship is like flying to Rome from Moscow in an airplane.
But the speed record achieved by a real manned spacecraft is 39.897kph. This is only 0.0037% of the speed of light.

A magnetic tunnel a thousand light years long has been discovered around the solar system
Two bright structures visible on opposite sides of the sky, previously thought to be separate, are actually connected and made of rope-like strands. The connection forms something akin to a tunnel around our solar system.
Composed of charged particles and a magnetic field, the structures are shaped like long ropes. They are located about 350 light years away and are about 1000 light years long.
Are the mole holes real?

That's the way the Earth was 4 billion years ago
NASA scientists have reconstructed the events that took place at the beginning of our planet.
The Earth, when it was forming 4.5 to 3.5 billion years ago, was a red-hot globe continuously bombarded by extraterrestrial bodies.
Its oceans evaporated into steam, fractures appeared in the still young crust, the surface was filled with lava
