There is a new ad format on the platform! Now, users can work with native ads. When working with this format, channel owners can write posts in their style so that they fit into the channel content and be more efficient.
The higher the efficiency of the ads in a channel, the better the rating and review scores for this channel, which means that the chances of repeat orders increase, affecting the admin’s earnings.
In addition, native posts are better perceived by the channel’s audience as they match the content style. So, working with a native format will help admins maintain subscribers’ loyalty.
This article explains in detail how to work with the native format.
For admins
To start receiving orders for native ads, you need to activate this format for the channel. You can do this in the channel editing section.
Getting started on a project
Upon getting an application for a native post, an admin can look through the task. After that, they can accept or reject the project and select the placement date.
Note that the will be no completed post in the task. Instead, an admin will see an illustration and the requirements for a post.
Workflow and new statuses
After an admin takes the project to work, they can see a field for the text, and the project goes into the “writing a post” status. And when an admin sends a finished post to an advertiser for approval, the status changes to “agreement.”
An advertiser can either immediately approve the post (in this case, it will be automatically sent for publication on the appointed date) or make changes and return the post to the admin for correction. Then, the status changes back to “writing a post.” As soon as an admin makes changes, they send the text for approval again, and the project’s status changes to “agreement,” as well.
Users can edit posts and send them for approval unlimited times. However, if the approval takes some time and the scheduled publication date passes, the system automatically changes it to “as soon as possible.”
As soon as an advertiser approves the post, it is sent for publication. After that, the project’s status changes to “waiting for review.” Then, the process is similar to working with other formats.
Deadlines
- An admin has 24 hours to review the task and accept or reject the project.
- An admin has 48 hours to write a post.
- An advertiser has 24 hours to approve the post or make changes. After this time, the post is automatically accepted for work and sent for publication.
For advertisers
Advertisers can find channels that work with the native format using a special filter in the catalog.
Getting started on a project
After selecting channels for placement and moving on to filling out the task, advertisers can still choose templates to launch a campaign or create new ones. Note that campaigns with native ads are launched according to a scenario in which texts and links are unique for each channel.
After completing the task and launching the project, advertisers can view the task. There will be an illustration and requirements for the post instead of a post preview. In addition, below, an advertiser will see the project history, which indicates all the stages the project has passed and at which one it is currently.
Workflow and new statuses
After the campaign launching, the project’s status changes to “channel owner gets acquainted with the task.” The project remains in this status until an admin accepts or rejects it. If an admin takes the project to work, the status changes to “writing a post.”
When an admin sends the finished post for approval to an advertiser, the status changes to “agreement.”
If an advertiser approves the post immediately, it is sent for publication on the appointed date. However, an advertiser can also make changes and send the project to the admin for revision. Then the status will change back to “writing a post.” All status changes can be viewed in the project history.
Users can edit posts and send them for approval unlimited times. However, if the approval takes some time and the scheduled publication date passes, the system automatically changes it to “as soon as possible.”
After agreeing on the post, it goes to work, and then the process is similar to working with other placement formats. After publication, an admin sends a review to an advertiser, and the project completes.
Deadlines
- A project can remain in the status “channel owner is getting acquainted with the task” for up to 24 hours. During this time, an admin has to accept or reject the project.
- An advertiser has 24 hours to agree on the post or make changes. After this time, the project will automatically go to work.
